== Sejarah == Kelompok anglophile ini muncul hasil daripada rekrutmen British melalui perang-perang yang dilancarkan di seluruh dunia. Di Tanah Melayu, golongan [[anglophile Melayu]] kebanyakan terdiri daripada golongan bangsawan yang dihantar melanjutkan pendidikan ke luar. Manakala, golongan cina peranakan yang telah menetap lama di Tanah Melayu dijadikan kapitan Cina yang menjadi penghubung antara British dengan orang Cina, seterusnya menjadikan kapitan ini adalah [[anglophile Cina]] yang meneruskan agenda British.
